Fox Trot Farm Roasted Lamb Shanks with Red Wine & Rosemary, an Instant Pot Recipe!

I crafted this recipe for my Instant Pot, which I just love using almost daily. It has been a game changer for our meals, since it not only hurries along a dish that would otherwise take much longer to prepare, but it also locks in more flavor. Farmer Bob pronounced it a home run, and we know the leftovers will be even better!

Facebook has blocked our farm URL (they do this to many farms), so please follow this link to visit our farm website and the recipe for this delicious main course.

Check out this customer recipe for Armenian Lamb Shanks!

The weather has turned wonderfully chilly and this time of year is perfect for a dinner of savory lamb shanks. One of our good customers who writes and food blog, The Armenian Kitchen, stopped by to pick up some of our Fox Trot Farm meaty lamb shanks, and then shared her recipe with me.

Facebook still has our farm website blocked, for unknown reasons and without warning or recourse, so I've created this blog so I can share our farm happenings on Facebook. Please follow this link to Robyn Kalajian's recipe that is on our farm website.

To get some of our Fox Trot Farm meaty lamb shanks, please call or text 803-804-3541 or email me at DebbieBinSC@gmail.com.

We're Back with Lamb!

This has been the LONGEST 6 months, hasn't it? We are happy to bring you the long-awaited news that we will be fully restocked with our tender and lean pasture-raised and grass fed lamb meat next week.

We will be returning to the Matthews Community Farmers Market on Saturday, September 12th from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, or you can pick up your order here at the farm at 5066 Rowell RD, Lancaster, SC. Please call or text 803-804-3541, or email me at DebbieBinSC@gmail.com to place your order to be certain you get what you want before we sell out.

For more information on our meat and pricing, please visit our website HERE

Here are some of the delicious ways we love our lamb:

Ground: burgers, meatloaf, in pasta dishes like lasagna, gyros
Sausages: simmered in marinara sauce and served over pasta, grilled or sauteed, braised with cabbage and potatoes, sheet pan bakes with root veggies, sliced, fried and used as pizza topping
Chops: grilled or pan fried
Racks: grilled or pan fried and oven finished
Legs: oven-roasted, braised, or boned, butterflied, and grilled like a steak
Shanks: braised with veggies and served over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes
Neck Roast: braised same as the shanks

We can't wait to see you again!
